You deserve a life you don't need to escape from.
Whatever you're struggling with — habits, experiences, patterns that keep repeating — if you're ready to change, you're in the right place.
Most of us learn to cope with stress by reaching for something external. Scrolling, drinking, gaming, shopping. It works until it doesn't. Real change means moving past coping and connecting with what actually motivates and drives you.
I use evidence-based approaches from behavioral health research and neuroscience — including EMDR therapy — to help recalibrate how you respond to stress, so you can break the habits holding you back and build a life that actually fits.
Addiction Counseling
I am here to hold you accountable without judgment.
Many people come to get help at request of someone else in their life. Many people do not relate to the term “addiction”. Maybe you have already changed your habit, but you still don’t feel better.
Addiction does not just refer to substances. We are living in environments designed to leverage our dopamine circuits and pull our attention constantly. We doom scroll instead of playing with our children or post for likes instead of calling a friend. We have increasingly more accessible ways to prioritize escape from our stress over our relationships, and our communities have fewer and fewer opportunities to facilitate our connection. If you are finding that your priorities don’t match your values, addressing addictive behaviors may be right for you.
